White Hot Chocolate

White Hot Chocolate

A liquid gluten free treat to enjoy on a cold December day.

Here in Georgia, those cold December days have gone missing ~ here’s hoping Dear Santa:

will bring them!

In the meantime, we’ll have to enJOY our winter drinks on the deck appreciating the sunshine and warm temperatures while we can.

We know that here down in the south Santa must have a red and green camo sled fitted with ATV wheels to get around!

You can easily make this dairy free by substituting regular milk with soy, nut or oat milk and using a dairy free whipped topping.

Prefer milk chocolate or dark chocolate? Mix your own using whatever chocolate combos you like.

White Hot Chocolate

1 ounce of melted white chocolate for each 8 ounces of milk

Heat milk in the microwave or in a saucepan on the stovetop just until warm.

Heat chocolate in the microwave or in heat proof bowl set on top of saucepan 1/3 full of simmering water, just until melted.

If using microwave, heat on medium power in short bursts (30 seconds at a time).

Stir melted chocolate into the milk and top with sprinkles, chocolate shavings and whipped cream.

A drizzle of Caramel Sauce and salt would turn this into Salted Caramel White Hot Chocolate!
