Brown Butter Apple Bits

Golden gems of flavor to eat as a snack, a garnish or a mix in for your breakfast bowls, trail mixes, yogurt or ice cream!

How To

  1. Brown 2 tablespoons of salted butter in a saute pan (heat the butter in the pan over medium heat just until it begins to turn amber, remove from heat immediately)
  2. Mix brown butter in a shallow casserole dish or parchment lined baking sheet with 2 peeled and chopped apples, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of raw sugar
  3. Roast in the oven at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 to 50 minutes
  4. When cool, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator
  5. Enjoy!
