Brown Butter Apple Bits

Golden gems of flavor to eat as a snack, a garnish or a mix in for your breads, breakfast bowls, trail mixes, yogurt or ice cream!

How To

  1. Brown 2 tablespoons of salted butter in a saute pan (heat the butter in the pan over medium heat just until it begins to turn amber, remove from heat immediately)
  2. Mix brown butter in a shallow casserole dish or parchment lined baking sheet with 2 peeled and chopped apples, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of sugar
  3. Roast in the oven at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 to 50 minutes
  4. When cool, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator
  5. Enjoy!
