Sluggish New Horizon

This week’s WordPress Photo Challenge is New Horizon

and I continue with my theme of “piddling” away my time. Sounds strange to make sluggishness a goal for 2017, but I am a believer in slowing down.

Take time to not just smell the roses; to also plant them, watch them grow, pick them, share them, dry the petals, infuse some oil or extract…slow doesn’t necessarily mean lazy.

I captured this slug in my yard while testing out an old lens yesterday, he was making his way up our Tulip Magnolia.
