Citrus Marsala Sangria

Citrus Marsala Sangria

This is a bunch of Citrus Marsala Sangria, you should probably share!

A lovely Friday Refresher to fortify you for the weekend!

1 tablespoon granulated sugar ~ I used Turbinado sugar

1/3 cup freshly squeezed citrus juice (a nice variety of lemon, lime and orange)

orange, lemon and lime slices

1 cup Marsala wine*

2-3 cups sparkling mineral water or selzer

Combine all in a pitcher or large jar. Add sparkling mineral water. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Pour into a tall glass, stick a straw in it and enjoy!

*Marsala wine is a fortified wine traditionally from Sicily (usually served as an aperitif or dessert wine~or used to flavor desserts, like Zabaione).  If you don’t have it on hand, any white, sweet wine will do.
